Agilecom's fused fiber devices utilize a special manufacturing process (patent-pending) for high performance and reliability. The unique fiber loading, fusion, and packaging process has clear advantages in device specifications, cost and reliability, especially in harsh application environments of high temperature, high humidity such as submarine optic networks, underground oil/gas wells, and difficult military situations. The platform production lines allow us to provide product solutions for different applications of wavelength from 400 nm to 1700 nm using different fibers including standard SMF, PM, MM and 80 mm cladding fibers. Wavelengths can reach from 400 nm to 2000 nm and housings can be ultra-small or highly rugged. Many of the more recently developed products are optimized for high power. The fused fiber devices are qualified according to Telcordia standards.

Our Products

Agilecom′s fiber optic portfolio offers the entire, vast spectrum of optical networking solutions, including couplers, splitters and laser diodes.

We have three categories of products:

* Products for FTTH: These products include waveguide-based 1x8 to 1x32 PLC splitters and reliable 1x2 to 4x4 fused fiber devices. The fused fiber devices can work at high temperature of over 350 Celsius temperature.

* Products for agile-optical networks: These include patent-pending technologies of tunable lasers sources and tunable filters covering C- or L-band.

* InP technologies for ultra-broadband laser diodes at 850 nm, 1310 nm and 1550 nm bands with 3-dB bandwidth of over 60 nm for biophotonics, fiber optic sensor systems and fiber optic test and measurement.

All of our optical components are designed and manufactured under the highest standards of quality control. We have four product platforms with a comprehensive product portfolio to address the many fast-growing fiber optic markets, including FTTH, flexible fiber optic networks with wavelength routing, including diversified photonic applications of sensor systems and biophotonics.

Our highly reliable FTTH products include planar-light wave circuit-based 1x8 to 2x64 PLC splitters (PLCS) and reliable 1x2, 4x4 and 1x8 fused biconic fiber devices (FBFD). The fused fiber devices can work at high temperatures of over 350 Celsius temperature for different sensor systems in harsh environments such as oil/gas exploration wells and transmission pipelines. We also provide high reliable glass and silicon fiber array block unit (FABU). The PLC platform products also include packaged AWG modules and other packaged waveguide devices.
